The dashboard

Open Dashboard under Analytics in the sidebar. If there are no logs yet, it shows "No data yet". Log some time first, or import logs from colleagues.

The dashboard includes every finished log in your browser, from all users. Timers that are still running are not counted until you stop them.

Summary cards

The four cards at the top give the headline numbers.

CardWhat it shows
Total loggedAll logged hours, and the number of log entries they come from
This weekHours logged in the current week, Monday to Sunday
BillableThe share of logged hours that were on billable tasks, and the number of billable hours
Log entriesThe number of log entries, and the number of users in your data
note

Only tasks can be marked as billable. Time logged without a task, or directly against a project, counts as non-billable.

Hours per week

The bar chart shows the hours logged in each of the last 8 weeks, labelled with the week number, for example W37. Hover over a bar to see the exact number.

Breakdowns

Below the weekly chart are bar charts that split the time up. A chart is only shown when there is data for it.

  • By task shows the 8 tasks with the most hours.
  • By project shows the hours per project, with the client name in front when the project has a client. It adds up time logged on the tasks that belong to each project.
  • By user shows the hours per person. It only appears when your data contains more than one user, for example after importing a colleague's logs. Use the Project dropdown next to its title to see the split for a single project.

Filtering by label

If any of your clients, projects or tasks have labels, two filter fields appear at the top of the dashboard. All cards and charts follow the filter.

  • Include labels: only count logs that have at least one of the chosen labels.
  • Exclude labels: leave out logs that have any of the chosen labels.

You can use both at once. For example, include client-work and exclude travel to see client work without travel time.

A log has the labels of the task, project and client it is linked to. A label on a client therefore applies to all time logged on that client's projects and tasks.
