Introduction

Astrea is a document quality management tool that is aimed at standardising and expediating the quality checking of structured, standard layout Portable Document Format (.pdf) files found in various industries.

Examples of these files are:

  • Drawings (redline, shop drawings, design drawings, etc)
  • Submittals, Material Approval Requests, etc
  • Comissioning scripts, testinging documentation, reports, etc.
  • Reports, frontsheets, etc.

Where the documetation has a standard layout and format, 'Astrea' can extract and validate data for huge numbers of files in seconds, generating reports and saving potentially thousands of hours* over the course of a project.
